HOW MANY REPS TO BUILD MUSCLE? Which one do you do if you want to build muscle? Low, medium or high reps? Yes, there is an optimal rep range to build strength, typically the 1-5 rep range. Guess what? If you get stronger you build muscle. Look at power lifters, they are all usually pretty big. Why would you skip out on this one. Then there is the “hypertrophy” (muscle building) rep range, typically between 6-12 reps. This is the optimal rep range for building muscle, but so are the others. Source by nospamisgood

Heres an example of how the actual calories vs target calories are spot on but the balance of macros is not. In this case I have more fat and less carbs.
