After lifting for 1-2 years consistently, you may need to bump up your number of training sessions from 3 or 4. Splits allow you to train each muscle group 2x/week while accumulating a lot of volume. I especially enjoy utilising DUP,. This means varying intensity or volume among different days.⠀So on the first 2 days, I focus on lower volume and heavier rep ranges like 4-6 and 6-8. On the other 3 days I focus on higher volume, higher rep ranges, and more of getting a pump.
